The overarching vision of the Kinder Institute is to bring Life Planning to everyone in the world by increasing the public’s knowledge about and demand for Life Planning, and by training Life Planners and helping them continue to develop their skills and practices.

Check out this video essay that Ray Stone, host of the YouTube channel MoneyXYZ, created about the Childhood period in George D. Kinder’s book, The Seven Stages of Money Maturity.

When Ray reached out to us to request an interview, he shared: “Over the past year, I have had a revelation that has shifted my perspective as a financial YouTuber (MoneyXYZ). While I have created numerous videos on financial independence, consumerism, and investing knowledge, I realized that financial knowledge alone is not enough to solve money problems. My journey led me to explore the psychological aspects of money, inspired by books like “Mindsight” and Mr. Kinder’s “The Seven Stages of Money Maturity.”

Through these explorations, I discovered that our childhood experiences significantly influence our financial behaviors and mindsets. Mr. Kinder’s book provided the framework I needed to understand and address these deep-seated issues.”

Many members of Ray’s book club read the Seven Stages book and were inspired to explore their money stories and discover their inner selves.

The full interview that Ray conducted with George will be released as a podcast on his YouTube channel later this month!
