Roger is one of 600 professionals globally that have earned the prestigious Registered Life Planner® (RLP®) designation.
In their conversation, Roger shares how he benefited from the life planning coursework and the process he underwent to modify his traditional financial planning business to better match his own values and life plan. Roger Kennedy, RLP®, is a Director and Chartered Financial Planner at AKFP Group. He’s responsible for helping their clients plan for and achieve their ideal lives, through the setting of proper life goals. AKFP Group are financial life planners, who help their clients to get the most out of their lives through proper life and financial planning. With a long history of working with Business Leaders (Owners/professionals) and retirees, their carefully designed process helps these and other individuals to realise what they want to achieve and structure their finances to help them to do just that.
Roger also teaches and coaches the CEOs and Leadership Teams on the implementation of a complete set of simple concepts and practical tools that has helped thousands of entrepreneurs around the world get what they want from their businesses. He works with Business Owners directly on using Scaling Up Platform, planning for a successful exit, and is one of 200 Scaling Up Coaches worldwide. With a background in financial services, Roger achieved Chartered status in 2015, a designation requiring a lengthy study and assessment period, held by only a relatively small number of advisers. During 2016, he received the ISO 22222 certification and also qualified as a Registered Life Planner®, becoming one of a select group in the UK to hold all qualifications, and the only one in N Ireland. In 2022, AKFP Group were delighted to become the 1st Financial Planning practice in Ireland to be awarded Cert BCorp.
